Solar Power - The Facts

The Earth receives around 1,366 watts of direct solar radiation per square meter!

Solar panels don’t need direct sunlight to generate electricity.

Despite previous criticisms and technological limitations, it is now cheaper to generate power using the sun.

The average solar panel has a 25-year performance warranty.

Solar panels are the fastest energy source to set up. With installation times around 1 week for 100kWp.

The sun constantly produces enough energy that could power the world for 500,000 years.

Funding Options

Full Ownership

With Solar PV costs falling 82% over the last decade, there has never been a better time to invest in solar. The latest studies have shown that the average pay-back period on a 150kWp (Kilowatt Peak) PV array is now 5.5 years.

The average Tier-1 solar panel models on the market have an expected lifespan of 40-50 years, and warranties that will keep them protected for at least half of that time. That equals to a potential of 45 years of profit.

PPA

We understand in business cash is king. So, If you do not wish to invest your hard-earned cash, but want a cleaner more renewable energy source for your business, PPA is one the available solutions.

Subject to suitability criteria, we are partnered with investors who would be willing to offer a free, fully maintained PV system for a 20 to 40-year lease period. With your permission the investor will build and maintain a PV system bespoke to your energy usage and you simply buy the clean energy produced and used within your premises at a reduced rate.

Green Loan

Another option to buying the system outright is a Green Loan. Again, subject to suitability criteria, we have a portfolio of leading energy efficiency asset loan financiers willing to offer green loans.

You borrow the money from the loan financier, and the majority of the first 7-10 years savings cover the capital and interest repayments, leaving a little over each year making it a cash positive investment. The installation is yours with your loan financing the initial cost whilst the financier takes a financial return.
